However, the production of many carotenoids is limited by complexity and high costs. Deinoxanthin, a unique carotenoid with potent antioxidant and antitumor properties, is not currently produced commercially.
We are developing an innovative microbial synthesis technology for deinoxanthin using the unique bacterium Deinococcus radiodurans. Our technology enables the production of high-purity deinoxanthin in an economically efficient and environmentally friendly manner.
